Help my mother-in-law is coming for dinner!
Don't worry, we will think of everything, you will only have to set the table, put a beautiful bunch of fresh flowers as a centerpiece and entertain the mother-in-law for half an hour (not an easy task!)
After a long day at work it's hard to get in the kitchen and cook (especially if constantly supervised buy "someone" that always knows better!). This is our menu'. Not only Italian but Italian Regional Food! Unique and exceptional products!
Mother in law is over for family dinner - Menu set (6 people):
Antipasti - carasu bread guttiau, tasty pistachio salami, sicilian pecorino cheese, caciocavallo cheese, mouthwatering green olives, organic grilled aubergines and tarallini bread
Main course - Pasta with sicilian pesto trapanese
Dessert - sweet pistachio cakes and torroncini sweets with almonds

A proper Italian meal can't start without antipasti! And if the mother in law is coming over for dinner, it is a must! The panic of having to prepare a meal worthy of such presence is added to the stress of having to do the shopping (remembering all the ingredients!) and cook after a long day at work. Our menu has been especially designed for such occasion and you will have the chance to impress with a beautiful, tasty and original menu. Italian regional delicacies, authentic flavour you won't find in the shop around the corner.
Antipasti: is the Italian way to start a proper meal. Slice some salami (thick or thin as you prefer, there's no rule!), cut little cubes of pecorino and caciocavallo cheese. On a separate plate add some delicious grilled aubergines and mouth watering green olives. Serve with carasau bread guttiau and tarallini bread.
Main course: Pasta with sicilian pesto trapanese. You will need the following ingredients: pasta, pesto, grated parmesan and extra vergin olive oil.
Boil 80gr per person of fusilli pasta in salted water (cooking time in the pack). Meawhile pour the sicilian pesto on a large sauce pan and heat it until warm (not too hot). When pasta is ready drain it and pour it in the sauce pan with the sauce and stir for few minutes (we alway reccommend to keep some of the water you use to cook the pasta to add at the end when mixing the pasta with the sauce if it gets a bit dry). Add some grated parmesan and a drizzle of extra vergin olive oil. Serve immediately
Dessert: serve the pistachio cakes and torroncini sweet with almond on a plate with a nice coffe, the perfect way to end a beautiful dinner!
